All of the revenue from all Snowmobile Trail Permit sales goes to the OFSC and its clubs. Together, we invest these funds to operate, maintain and support over 41,000 km of OFSC snowmobile trails for your riding pleasure.

What you should know

Seasonal Trail Permit 2011- $250.00

The Seasonal Trail Permit may be purchased from OFSC clubs, associations or districts or online at this web site.

  • The permit expires May 31st of the season of purchase.
  • This is the only permit available online.
  • Sign up for OFSC member benefits when buying this permit.
  • Locate your Local Club in the district locator.

Seasonal Trail Permit early buy on or before December 1st 2010 - $200.

Classic Permit 2011- $125.00

7-Day Permit 2011 - $140.00

  • The 7-Day Trail Permit may be purchased from OFSC clubs, associations or districts.
  • This permit offers the same access to open OFSC Prescribed Trails as the Seasonal Permit, but it expires seven days after being issued and is no longer valid. The full 7 days start the next day if the permit is purchased after 4 PM.
  • Locate your Local Club in the district locator.

3-Day Permit 2011 - $100.00

  • The 3-Day Trail Permit may be purchased from OFSC clubs, associations or districts.
  • This permit offers the same access to open OFSC Prescribed Trails as the Seasonal Permit, but it expires three days after being issued and is no longer valid. The full 3 days start the next day if the permit is purchased after 4 PM.
  • Locate your Local Club in the district locator

Special Event Permit 2011 - $35.00

  • The Special Event Permit is intended for use only with club sanctioned events and may be purchased from the OFSC clubs, associations or district involved in the special event.
  • This permit offers access only to the open or limited OFSC Prescribed Trails being used for the club event.

Replacement Permits 2011 - $10.00

Pfrescibed Trail Info
  • If the trail permit is lost, stolen or damaged and needs to be replaced, please contact the vendor snowmobile club or the club, association or district you designated when you purchased online from the OFSC.
  • You must present the original trail permit receipt along with the original permit, or portion thereof. If not available, a police report or police incident number is required for stolen or lost permits.

Permit Placement & Additional Information

  • The Trail Permit is valid only when permanently affixed to the bottom edge of the center of the windshield, or on top and to the left of centre of the engine cowling as close as possible to the centre of the windshield, without obscuring or being obscured by the registration number require to be displayed on the vehicle.
  • OFSC Trail Permits are valid only in the province of Ontario and may be used to access any open or limited Prescribed Trails operated by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs unless otherwise specified above.
